From the Vaclav Havel airport Praha (PRG)

By public transport (most preferred) – bus No. 119www.dpp.cz – The conference venue is easily accessible from the airport by public transport (ca. 30 minutes – 11 km). Take the bus No. 119 from the Airport Terminal 1 or 2 to the final stop “Nadrazi Veleslavin”, than use subway (from “Nadrazi Veleslavin”) to the station “Dejvicka”. Bus no. 119 stop is in the middle of the car park outside the arrival halls (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2), just walk straight and look for the signs. From “Dejvicka” station walk ca. 5 minutes to the conference venue.

Before you get on the bus you have to buy a ticket – you can choose a ticket for 24 CZK valid for 30 min., 32 CZK valid for 90 min., 110 CZK valid for 24 hours or 310 CZK valid for 72 hours.

Free transport applies to luggage up to and including 25x45x70 cm, if any of the size is higher you have to buy a (children) ticket for 16 CZK.

Ticket should be signed (stamped) as soon as you board the bus. You will see yellow stamping machines in all modes of transport. The blank strip at the end of the ticket should be punched.

Tickets can be bought in the Prague Public Transport booths which are located in the arrival halls of both Airport Terminals (credit cards are accepted there).

It is also possible to buy the tickets from the vending machines at the bus stops (only coins are accepted there).

By UBER – UBER (www.uber.com) is available in Prague.

By taxi – Recommended companies are TickTack (www.ticktack.cz), Green-Prague (www.green-prague.cz), AAA (www.aaataxi.cz) or RadioCAB (www.111radiocab.cz) (taxi service at guaranteed tariff prices, according to the number of kilometers passed) – yellow cars waiting outside the arrival halls of both terminals.

The taxi cost to the conference venue should be around 400 CZK. The journey takes about 20 minutes, but expect delays due to route construction work. It is advisable to agree on the fare in advance. To take a taxi, contact counters of taxi operators located at the arrival hall of Terminal 1 and 2. Departure points are situated in front of the arrival halls. Notify the driver in advance, that you request a bill (printed from the taximeter, not handwritten).

Do not take a taxi if the drivers contact you in the arrival hall.

Notice:

There is no train or metro connection to/from the airport.

From the main railway station (HLAVNI NADRAZI)

The conference venue is easily accessible from the Main Railway Station by public transport (20 min).

Take metro line C to “Muzeum” station (1 stop), change to line A and go to “Dejvicka” station (5 stops) which is located ca. 10 minutes walking to the conference venue (see the map). Before you enter the metro you have to sign (stamp) your ticket. You will see yellow stamping machines in all modes of transport. The blank strip at the end of the ticket should be punched.

Tickets for 24 CZK valid for 30 min., 32 CZK valid for 90 min. can be bought from the vending machines or at newsagents, tobacconists, street kiosks, post offices and hotels. You can buy also tickets for 110 CZK valid for 24 hours or 310 CZK valid for 72 hours. These tickets can be bought at the metro advance ticket sale points or at metro info centres.

From the Holešovice railway station (NADRAZI HOLESOVICE)

The conference venue is easily accessible from the Holesovice Railway Station by public transport (25 min).

Take metro line C to the “Muzeum” station (4 stops), change to line A and go to the “Dejvicka” station (5 stops) which is located ca. 10 minutes walking to the conference venue (see the map).
